Prices for Intel Drone Light Shows?

Intel is the largest producer of Drone Light Shows in the world and their show prices reflect the large corporation that they are, for example the bottom level of shows with intel are 200 drones, that start at $150,000.

Drone Light Show Company shows cost far less with our drone packages starting at 200 drones for $26,100 starting price.

Intel prices start at $150,000 for 200 drones

What's the difference, is one show better than the other?

    Patrick Deans

    Show Producer

    • Drone light show costs $18,400 for 100 drones with 2 custom formations
    • Drone light show costs $26,100 for 200 drones with 2 custom formations
    • Drone light show costs $35,200 for 300 drones with 2 custom formations
    • Drone light show costs $43,200 for 400 drones with 2 custom formations
    • Drone light show costs $50,800 for 500 drones with 2 custom formations

Why are our prices less than the Intel drone light show?

We keep a set of drones in 12 locations across the planet near the hottest markets for drone light shows and we have local crews ready to perform the shows locally.

We produce and create the programming locally in Los Angeles and then beam the show programming over the internet. So in a way we are always local, we also do most shows with a variety of stock formations with a few custom made formations, this drastically reduces the cost of the shows compared to Intel.

Intel shows primarily are 100% custom, our shows can be 100% custom as well, but we find most clients, want a drone light show with pre-made formations and choose to add just one or two custom formations thus allowing for a show in 2-3 weeks and for a fraction of the industry leader.

Is there a difference between intel drone light shows and your shows?

Yes, there is and the first is price, and the reason is we act locally and fly a minimum of crew to your locations. We have trained crews in 12 markets across the world that can travel a much shorter distance than intel and their crews, in addition our costs s a small company are much less than a large billion dollar corporation, and we are hungry and eat, breathe, and sleep drones, its in our DNA and we have done it since 2014, a year before intel, we get it and we know how to do multiple shows quickly and and we are ready to show you.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Drone Light Shows

    Edward Snoke

    Safety Officer

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has stopped mass gatherings all over the planet. Drone Light Shows are held in the sky and its a simple exercise to provide a drone light show while at the same time practicing social distancing.

    • People can watch drone light shows for an up to 5 mile radius
    • Drone light shows can be viewed from inside a car or a home or apartment building
    • Drone light shows take place in the sky and require no large crowds at all

Coronaviruses can be spread when people with the virus have close, sustained contact with people who are not infected. This typically means spending more than 15 minutes within two metres of an infected person, such as talking to someone for instance.

In a drone light show the show is 200-300 feet above the ground and can be seen for nearly 5 miles. This means a drone light show event can be part of a well thought out social distance based event to keep everyone safe. The audience for a drone light show can watch the drone show from their car, apartment, home, and even if outside can stand well away from each other as the show is above them and there is no bad seat in a drone light show ever.

The more you come into contact with the droplets from coughs and sneezes of an infected person, the more likely you are to catch the infection. This is why we ask people who have the infection to self-isolate at home and not to go out and about where they can pass it on.

How do you plan a drone light show?

Drone light shows are created by creating a storyboard

    STEP ONE

When we work with clients on a drone light show, we create storyboards to showcase the flow of the drone light show. Our team usually starts with a music soundtrack and then through creative meetings our artists create detailed storyboard frames showing the flow of the drone light show.

In our experience, some of the best ideas that come out of us were usually around before the show started. It’s not that they were bad ideas; they just hadn’t gotten enough love yet. The storyboard gives you a chance to put all solutions on a level playing field. If you don’t bring out your pre-existing ideas, you do yourself a disservice.

Because new ideas are so shiny and fresh, the facilitator needs to remind everyone to think old first. There’s no need to be embarrassed of that solution you thought of five months ago while eating a burrito or taking a shower. Drone light shows are organic like ideas.

    47. Evaluate results against objectives

    48. Evaluate results against investment.

    49. Communicate outcomes to stand team and thank you’s.

    Before we code

Before our coding team gets involved it’s all about planning on a sheet paper and then creating artwork of each individual formation for client approval. Once the client approves the order and the look and feel of each custom formation, we move on to the next step

    Our drone light shows can
create many shapes like faces in the sky

    STEP TWO

We then create a sample video that combines the music and storyboard frames into a sample of your specific custom drone light show. In working this way, you and your team or your own clients can have as much creative control prior to the actual programming of the drone light show itself.

Making Faces with drones has proved very popular with our clients
Drone light show pre show work

    STEP THREE

Once the music, and art work is done, our programmers go into a computer to create the model for your show prior to the programming of the drones themselves. In every step of the way you as a client are able to see and make changes prior to programming the drones themselves.

    STEP FOUR

Drone Show we did after creating the below storyboards

    The finished drone show

The above video is a sample of how a very rough drone light display storyboard might look for a custom show. Nearly every show we do is different and each show we do is a custom creation for our clients. However, all shows start with an idea or need from our clients and then we simply write down the order of the drone show and move to the storyboard phase next.

Live Holograms for Concerts and Events

We can create realistic amazing LIVE 3D holograms for your concert or your event. We can combine the holograms with the drones for an amazing ultra realistic effect.

    Standard 3d Hologram
LIVE 3D HOLOGRAM SHOW with Drones

The holographic people we’ve seen are based off of an illusion called “Pepper’s Ghost,” developed by Henry Dircks and John Pepper in 1863. The concept requires two rooms, some specifically placed glass and carefully controlled lighting. A room adjacent to the viewing area (or stage) is set up as a mirror-image of the area the audience sees; if there’s a chair on the right of the stage, it’s on the left in the other room. The key difference is that other room is either painted black or entirely unlit, so as not to cast any unwanted reflections that would break the suspension of disbelief. That room is where the performer resides. The stage area must be brightly lit at first for the whole thing to work. Then, the stage’s lights are dimmed slightly and the lights are raised in the mirror-image room, which causes the not-physical performer to appear.

The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center is using holograms to help visitors learn about the experiences of people during the Holocaust.

Because of that, the modern setup requires only one room: the stage. Typically, it involves the Musion screen to be at a 45-degree angle with the projector residing beneath the stage, pointing and projecting upward. For the Jackson performance, however, it was a bit different. Six projectors threw the King of Pop’s video on a rear-projection screen hanging above the stage. The angled Musion screen picked that projection up, and from the audience’s perspective, he appeared at the back of the stage. Careful placement of dancers and band members added to the illusion of depth and dimension.

“It’s a fully produced, scripted show. We’re not replicating a concert only. We are creating a concert experience. “You’re going to see the holographic image interacting with the band or with the conductor or making mistakes, getting flowers, whatever the case is. It’s all in the writing and the script and the choreography and the production.”

    • Drone Light Shows in America
    • @What is the price of a drone light show?

America has a few main hotbeds for drone light shows, and we have done shows in all the most popular areas. America is governed by the FAA and with an FAA permit, we are allowed to perform drone light shows in the United States.

Now with our drone swarm permit, we have access to do drone light shows for you in nearly any part of America, and we also have drones, crews, and the ability to not only work in America, but we also work worldwide as well.

How to be ready for a
    drone light display show

Like most event planners, your first task for any drone light show is securing a venue. It is the most important piece of any event. In most cases, the other details can’t even be arranged until the venue has been decided.

“Yes, cuisine and entertainment are also important factors,” recalls Jeff Winston of Drone Events. But the venue sets the scene, dictates many choices related to the event, and influences the experiences of your guests probably more than any other factor.”

Plus, you need to know the venue before you can begin inviting attendees and arranging presenters and performers and the drone light show.

Even though selecting a venue the first take, it’s also the most difficult. There’s a lot to think about and a lot riding on your choice. Here are the variables you should consider when choosing a venue for a drone light show.

Drone Light shows are easy to set up for anybody

    1. Cost (and your budget)

As you can imagine, everything comes down to cost, so we’ve listed it first. Your drone light show will take up a significant portion of your budget.

    2. Ambiance and mood

Creating an atmosphere that relates to your topic and appeals to your audience is a critical part of setting up an engaging drone light show. Modifying or decorating a venue is expensive, so it’s smart to choose one that already aligns with your theme.

If you want to create a luxury atmosphere, choose a ritzy hotel. If you want to create a trendy scene, rent a modern space. If you’re hosting a tradeshow, choose something industrial and open. Drone light shows can be held indoors or outdoors so its very simple.

    3. Capacity and size

Every building is limited by the number of people who can occupy it at any time. Some rooms are limited as well. Before you start sending invitations, it’s important to make sure the venue can legally and comfortably accommodate your guest list. A drone light show can be held in rooms with at least 12 foot ceilings. So we are used to tight spaces.

“It is important to ask questions like ‘How tight will the seating be?’ Will your guests be able to move freely through the venue space without any uncomfortable hindrances on their movement? How big does the space feel? Is it cozy and comfortable? Is it open and spacious? Two venues with the exact same max capacity might feel entirely differently based on room layout.” For a drone light show outdoors is massive but inside is intimate.

    4. Access to Wifi

A strong Internet connection throughout the venue is absolutely critical these days. Your attendees will expect to be able to check their email, text their friends and family, and post to social media throughout your event, especially if it takes place over several days. Make sure the venue has an excellent Wifi connection that’s strong throughout the entire space. We at drone light show company bring our own network, so we do not need yours.

    5. Parking

Parking is a deciding factor for many people. They need somewhere to leave their car, but they aren’t willing to abandon it on the street or pay $50 for a day’s spot.

Ideally, your venue should have some parking arrangements, even if access requires an additional fee. If parking is important for your guests, choose a venue that has their own lot/garage or a venue where parking space can be secured nearby.

In unique situations, some event coordinators provide a valet service for attendees, even if the venue doesn’t. Valets ferry cars back and forth to nearby lots. (This solution is generally only suitable for events with large budgets.)

Drone shows in California are popular

    6. Insurance

We provide 5 million in insurance coverage and do not need you to do anything more than give us the names of the companies that need to be on the COI for the drone light show.

    7. Acoustics and sound

If the sound in the venue is too low or too loud, your attendees will become unengaged and bored. No one wants to cram up front to hear the speaker or have to shout over the volume to chat with their friends.

A venue with poor acoustics isn’t worth your time, no matter the price. Low ceilings amplify sound. Huge open spaces create echoes. Find a venue with a good balance. Test it out if you have to. We can plug in to your sound system or bring our own and our drones also have speakers. We have it covered.

    8. Location

Location is an important concern because it can influence who attends your event (attendees and speakers). If your venue is in an undesirable location or too far from transport systems (like airports), you’ll limit the number of people who show up. Then again, a venue in the heart of New York City is accessible, but expensive. We can set up a drone light show anywhere.

    9. Technology

Your technology needs will depend on your event, so it’s smart to have an idea of the types of attractions you’ll host. Professional presenters will need projection screens. Performers might need lighting systems. Everyone needs access to good audio. We are able to bring everything we need.

    10. Food and beverage minimums

If your venue will be providing food and beverages, ask them about minimums. In some cases, a venue will charge you for a minimum number of guests, even if you don’t invite that many. If, for instance, the venue supplies food (and charges you) for a minimum of 300 people, you’ll want to make sure you invite at least that many so you get your money’s worth. The drone light show team does not need anything as we are self-sufficient.

    drone light show company

    11. Layout

    • How will traffic flow throughout your event?
    • Do you anticipate any popular attractions? Where would those be located?
    • Is there adequate space for open mingling?
    • Where will the bar setup? Is there enough room?
    • If a stage isn’t available, can one be set up?
    • Do people have to walk long distances to reach rooms or attractions?
    • Where are the emergency exits?
    • Where will guests register or check in?
    • Where should audio and video equipment be stationed?
    • Drones can be launched from up to two miles away.

    12. Additional services

    • Is there a kitchen that can be used by you and your team?
    • Are there any outdoor seating options?
    • Does the venue have any partnerships with food vendors?
    • Are bathrooms present and easily accessible?
    • Does the venue offer security? Is that necessary?
    • Do they have adequate tables, chairs, linens, silverware, etc.?
    • Will a cleaning crew make sure the venue is clean before the event and clean up afterwards?
    • Are there sufficient audio and video capabilities?

    13. Special access/amenities

Consider the ages of your guests as well. If you expect babies, make sure the restrooms have changing tables. If you expect an older crowd, make sure there is plenty of seating.

The most popular regions within the United States for Drone Light Shows since 2014 have been the following areas:

    • Los Angeles Drone Light Shows
    • Las Vegas Drone Light Shows
    • New York City Drone Light Shows
    • Miami Florida Drone Light Shows
    • Memphis Drone Light Shows
    • Texas Drone Light Shows
    • Arizona Drone Light Shows
    • San Francisco Drone Light Shows

Permits for these cities are covered with the FAA. Drone Light Shows operate with FAA permits that are good for 5 years straight.

Other countries around the world that are seeing a huge increase in Drone Light Shows include the following:

    • Dubai Drone Light Shows

Dubai is a very friendly place for Drone light shows, and we have a set of 500 drones located in Dubai for use in drone light shows in the region.

Drone light show provider in the middle east
    • Mexico Drone Light Shows – In Mexico, the government requires that 80% of the drones used in drone light shows be made in Mexico and that the crew is 90% Mexican. To do drone shows in Mexico, we have built a set of drones in Mexico and they are kept in Mexico and we have a crew that we call on, along with our USA crew to perform shows legally in Mexico.

    • Argentina Drone Light Shows – Argentina and most of South America is very friendly for Drone Light Shows and we have done many drone light shows in the area with great success
    • Germany Drone Light Shows
    • China Drone Light Shows
    • India Drone Light Shows – India is a place with lots of horrible laws for drone light shows, first off their is a high tariff to perform drone light shows there, outdoor shows are almost never approved in India, however Indoor drone light shows are ok within India. We have addressed this by partnering with a drone company in India and have built and trained a team in India to perform the drone shows there without the need to import the drones.

Advertising with Drone Light Show Drones

Is it possible to do advertising with Drone Light Show Drones? The short answer is yes it really is possible to advertise with drones.

Many of our clients use drone light shows to advertise many events, like movie openings, water parks theme parks, and new food offerings.

From Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl halftime show to pizza deliveries, it’s hard to deny the recent boost in the popularity of drones. Advancements in drone technology are both driving down production costs and adding ease of use, which is making drones increasingly accessible to ordinary people.

You see hundreds of outdoor advertisements every day, and even more if you live in a city like New York or Chicago. But your recall of these ads is probably close to zero. Doing outdoor advertising the right way is imperative, or it’s simply a waste. Drones offer another way to get your advertising remembered, and shared over social media instantly!

Many of the drones we see at parks and beaches are being flown by hobbyists trying to capture a quality photograph, but drones are evolving in the marketing world as well. In fact, drone technology is at the point where drones are more like a tool rather than a toy when in the right hands. Drone Light Show Company can help you push nearly any message forward using drones and this incredible technology.

Drones can be used to write words in the sky above your city

Drone light displays are unique and even you are advertising the most boring thing, it just got exciting with a drone light show!

    Advertising managers

    Use drones as the messengers

Many people associate drones with only video recording, but they can do so much more. In fact, drones can be the stars of a marketing campaign.

Reaching hundreds of thousands of consumers isn’t cheap, and as competition for billboard spaces increases, so do associated costs. Advertising with drones and light shows offers an instant way to interact with your public in a way that they welcome, and remember, unlike some billboard no one cares about.

Cost calculations are based on a system called gross rating points (GRP), the impressions that are delivered by a media schedule for the outdoor location. This is called the daily effective circulation (DEC), also known as a “showing.” One rating point is equal to 1% of the market population. There are many factors involved based on traffic, visibility, location, and size.

This rating gives you a showing score of anywhere from 1% to 100%. Halfway means that at least 50% of the area’s population would see one of your boards at least once a day.

You can expect to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a 50 showing for one month. The price will skyrocket in major areas like New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles. Drone light shows start at just $18,400, unlike a billboard.

Basically, drones are new and intriguing, and some marketers are already capitalizing on the fact that many people simply like to watch drones fly around. Many have what Amazon does in commercials in which Amazon playfully characterizes delivery by drone as the future of package delivery. Whether it will actually happen or not isn’t the point; the point is that Amazon just recorded staff members flying drones around, and people loved it. Drone Light Show company can assist you in making your advertising exciting to all types of people and audiences.

Drones are easy to use in ads

Drones can travel almost anywhere, which makes them an ideal advertising platform. Traditionally, marketing consisted of print ads, TV commercials, billboards, and Internet ads, but drones provide new opportunities that marketers can take advantage of. We can do light shows over water, bridges, cities, and stadiums. Just about anyplace.

Whereas advertising platforms such as signs and billboards are stationary and passive, drones can take a company’s message to people directly and aggressively. For instance, some restaurants and other advertisers are using drones to their advantage by using them to fly menus around cities and hold banners and posters above people at large events.

    Ad age 2019

Drone advertisements, depending on local law, can fly almost anywhere. Potential customers at the park or in an office building are now directly reachable, making drone advertising its own platform full of potential to engage the public. We hold all needed permits to make this happen.

Yes, you can advertise new products such as cars, drone light shows, can actually do advertising campaigns in the sky.

In addition to the numerous straightforward ways marketers can use drones as a tool, they can also use the technology’s unlimited potential for creativity. That is, a drone doesn’t just have to be a character, a billboard, or a camera; it can also be a component of art.

How to use drone ads properly

Drone technology will likely continue to evolve and expand, and, as such, it’s important for marketers to keep themselves informed of these advancements. People are still figuring out new uses for drones and as the technology improves, the novel utility will increase.

If marketers can stay ahead of the curve, it will not be difficult for them to use drone technology to create new, exciting, and visually pleasing advertising material.

For example, and Comic-Con a2018 Drone light show company created a series of drone light show events that were 90 seconds in length. All around Comic-Con advertising a new show for YouTube.

    • Make your outdoor drone shows shareable: Approach your outdoor drone shows as something that will create a stir. People will see it, record it, and share it on social media. It’s not a good use of your time and money if it doesn’t possess this quality.
    • Spend your money on high-traffic sites: You might be tempted to buy cheaper units and more of them, but it’s far better to go with one site that will get a million views rather than five sites that will get 800,000. People are drawn to drone light shows and they love them.
    • Look at the competition: Perhaps the best example of this comes from a billboard by Audi. It simply said, “Your move, BMW.” Then BMW put up a billboard a week later that said “Checkmate.” You don’t want to leave yourself open to ridicule, so study the area and select sites that won’t pose a problem. A drone show trumps them all.
    • Less is more: Outdoor advertising catches the eye for a second or two—if you’re lucky. You don’t want to saturate the ad with messages and calls to action. Keep it simple and let a few words and stunning visuals grab consumers’ attention. Think of outdoor media as a conversation starter. It’s not there to inform, but merely to intrigue. Drones that form a simple shape mean more than anything.

Concerts use drones and drone light shows to promote merchandise and upcoming shows and sports teams put their logos in the sky to remind fans it’s time to buy tickets.

While drones swarm effortlessly in the skies, forming various shapes and patterns, getting them to work is a laborious task that requires pinpoint accuracy. And each performance must be customized, taking into consideration, weather, terrain, local regulations and network connectivity.

The drones, equipped with remote sensors and LED lights, are controlled in groups, or individually. Precision is key when controlling the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), with designers having to make sure there is a safe distance both between the drones and with the audience, while simultaneously making sure they are moving according to the rhythm of the music and the pulse of the audience.

Drone light show company can help you advertise with drones. This is the newest method of using drone light shows and drone displays for product launches.

Each drone weighs less than a pound, yet it can create more than 4 billion different color combinations. Drone light show company describes this as “virtually a billion color combinations.” Drone light show company’s software can check the entire fleet of drones before a show, enabling it to “select the most optimized drones for each flight based on battery life, GPS reception and more.” They are high tech and far out.

Drones form enormous billboards in the skies at a fraction of the cost

Maybe there’s a universal fascination with objects in the sky — and replacing fireworks with aerial drone shows will inevitably become the next logical step. One excited fan has even joked that if humanity stays on this trajectory, we’ll someday be telling our grandkids about our long-ago memories of fireworks on the Fourth of July. Drone Light Shows are the best for advertising, product launches and your next event as well

As technology in this arena becomes more advanced, more can be done to make these displays more engaging.

5G and machine learning, in particular, will be pivotal in this game of drones.  5G’s low latency will enable more precision when it comes to location tracking, allowing drones to form even more intricate formations closer to each other and also control over greater distances. Drone Light Show Company can always help you go further with your show.

Meanwhile, advancements in machine learning will allow drones to move more seamlessly in swarms – like a murmuration of birds or extinct creatures from long ago.

Fireworks may still be the preferred choice for large-scale events in the coming years, but drone performance shows may well start giving greater bang for the buck with less pollution and more sparkle in clear skies. Drone light shows beat fireworks and for advertising, they can’t be beat

Drones can replicate logos and make Drone Light Show advertising work for you
